Commemorating 30 years since his death a captivating and inspiring evening of music and story-telling; bringing alive the most fascinating of the Beatles, pays tribute and respect to the man and his genius.
A concert that will inspire and leave you in awe of his music, his artistry and his messages of peace.
With authentic instruments, costumes and an appropriate selection of songs, the show takes us from his youth, through the Beatles hey-day, their demise and on to Lennon's last years.
Lennon recounts his first impressions of McCartney, gives us glimpses of his motherless childhood, and explains his infamous comment that the Beatles are "More famous than Jesus now".
He shares his hurt at the white hatred of Yoko Ono.
His battles to avoid deportation from The US, and clarifies his relationships with Brian Epstein and David Bowie. It's a chance to relive the highs of The Beatles unparalleled fame, the controversy of their break-up, the intrigue of John Lennon's solo career and the shocking tragedy of his untimely death.
William Croft and Beatle Magic portray and depict Lennon like no one before them.
They will take you back and strike a chord with emotive story telling. However and most importantly, the musical delivery really rocks and in fact, is exceptional. The songs include such cherished favourites as I'm a Loser, Norwegian Wood, Nowhere Man, In My Life, the powerfully delivered God, Working Class Hero and Instant Karma and the achingly beautiful Jealous Guy, Woman, Beautiful Boy and of course Imagine.
Whether you are an old fan or a new one to be in the audience is to take a journey through some of the Western world's most influential and exceptional music.
With 30 songs being performed this is as close as you'll get to the fantasy of seeing John Lennon Live.
